Short-Term Assistance

Help for qualifying customers in financial distress

TEP works with community organizations to provide limited, emergency bill payment assistance for income qualifying customers in financial distress. Participation is limited, and qualifications may vary depending on the agency.

Assistance Criteria

  • Eligibility is limited to customers whose household income does not exceed levels based on federal poverty guidelines.
  • Agencies can only provide assistance to residents of their designated service area.
  • Customers must complete applications and provide forms of identification and other documentation required by participating agencies.
