Inspection
All vehicles are located at either TEP Fleet Services, 4354 E. Irvington Road in Tucson, Arizona or at other UniSource Energy locations in Arizona (vehicles located outside of Tucson will be noted in the unit’s description). Vehicles may be inspected by appointment only. To schedule an inspection appointment, or for any questions concerning the items in this bid, please e-mail auction@tep.com
Bidding Process
The online UniSource Energy vehicle auction displays the current high bid. Upon bid closing, only the successful bidder will be notified by phone or e-mail and given instructions for completing the sales transaction. If the high bidder rejects the offer, the right to purchase the vehicle will be awarded to the next highest bidder.
Payment Terms
Cashiers check or money orders only, made out to UniSource Energy Corp. (No cash or personal checks will be accepted)
Tax
A 8.1% sales tax will be added to all purchases in Tucson unless a tax exemption number is provided. Sales in other localities will reflect the applicable sales tax in that locale. If the sale is tax–exempt, a copy of the tax exempt certificate or a completed Arizona Form 5000 will be required.
Vehicle Pick Up
Buyer will be notified when items are available and will be expected to make arrangements for pick up within five (5) business days after completion of sale.
Seller
UniSource Energy & its subsidiaries reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids as the interest of the Company may require.
No Warranty
All vehicles are to be sold "AS IS." UniSource Energy & its subsidiaries specifically disclaim all warranties expressed or implied, including the implied warranty of merchantability and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
Buyer shall agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend UniSource Energy, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, losses, liabilities and expenses in connection with the purchase or use of a vehicle sold under this program.
